MEXICAN HERITAGE -15 days/14 nights
Day 01: Mexico City
Meet & greet on arrival in Mexico City. Transfer to hotel. Overnight

Day 02: Mexico City
After breakfast, you will depart for your tour of this great city and visit the downtown area of Zocalo. Your afternoon will be devoted to a visit of the world renowned Anthropology Museum. Return to your hotel and overnight.

Day 03: Mexico City
After breakfast, visit the Basilica or Guadalupe and the magnificent Pyramids of Teotihuacan. There will be a guided tour of the area before you return to Mexico City for the night.

Day 04: Mexico City - Cuernavaca - Taxco
After breakfast depart Mexico City for Cuernavaca in the next valley and then on to the silver city of Taxco. There will be time to wonder through the narrow cobble-stoned streets and visit the magnificent Santa Prisca Church and of course shop for silver bargains. Overnight Taxco.

Day 05: Taxco - Oaxaca
After breakfast you will continue your journey through typical Mexican countryside and mountains to the city of Oaxaca. You will arrive in time to check in to your hotel and overnight.

Day 06: Oaxaca
After breakfast you will spend the day in this beautiful city. You will visit the famous Santo Domingo Church and the Regional Museum. In the afternoon you will visit Monte Alban, the magnificent ruin on a hill overlooking Oaxaca. Overnight.

Day 07: Oaxaca - Mitia -Tehauntepec
After breakfast you will depart for the mystic city of Mitia and then make your way over the mountains for the city of Tehauntepec. Check in to your hotel where you will overnight.

Day 08: Tehauntepec - Chlapas - Tuxtia Gutierrez - San Cristobal de las Casas
After breakfast you will continue into the State of Chiapas. You will pass through the state capital of Tuxtia Gutierrez and on to the Sumidero Canyon just outside the town, where Indians hurled themselves into the Canyon, rather than give themselves up to the Spanish Conquerors.

A boat ride into the canyon will give you a chance to see it at its best. Continuation on to the main Indian town of the Highlands called San Cristobal de las Casas, where you will overnight.

Day 09: San Cristobal de las Casas
After breakfast you will spend the day visiting the Indian Village of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan. You will also have time to explore the town of San Cristobal.
Return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 10: San Cristobal de las Casas - Palenque
Today after breakfast you continue on out of the highlands and into the more jungle-like scenery where Palenque lies. On the way you will visit the beautiful falls of Agua Azul. On arrival in Palenque check in at hotel and overnight.

Day 11: Palenque - Campeche
After breakfast the morning will be spent exploring the ruins of Palenque, one of the great remnants of the classic Maya period. In the afternoon you will continue to Campeche on the Gulf Coast. Overnight.

Day 12: Campeche - Merida
After breakfast you will continue on to Merida, visiting the ruins of Uxmal and Kabah on the way. You will have enough time to visit all the ruins at Uxmal and arrive in Merida to check-in to your hotel, where you will overnight.

Day 13: Merida - Cancun
After breakfast you will visit your last major ruin at Chichen-Itza, where the extensive site includes evidence of both the Maya and Toltec cultures. From here it will be on the warm, inviting blue waters of the Caribbean Sea and the world-famous resort of Cancun. Arrival at your hotel. Overnight.

Day 14: Cancun
Breakfast. This is your final day of leisure to enjoy the clear waters and white sand of Cancun. Overnight.

Day 15: Cancun
Breakfast. Free time until the transfer
