Then the tour continues to the imposing Pyramids of Teotihuacan, probably the greatest vestige of the Aztec Empire, where the people will visit the two Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the temple of Quetzatcoatl, walk along the 'Avenue of the Dead'. Return to your hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

The people will be able to see the strange statues in a line at some distance from the site known as the ‘atlantes’ and the area that was used for the ball game. The tour will continue to Tepotzotlan where the people will be taken for a tour of the Museum dedicated to Virreinal Art. Return to Mexico City in the afternoon. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 04 CITY TOUR AND THE FLOATING GARDENS OF XOCHIMICO
Breakfast in the hotel. The morning City Tour will concentrate on the area of the Zocalo. It will include visits to the 18th Century Cathedral, mass in one of the chapels, the National Palace with the famous murals by Diego Rivera and there will be an option for those who wish to visit the ruins of the 'Templo Mayor' (Not included in the price). This is a recently-discovered ruin of an Aztec Temple next to the Cathedral and it also has a small museum. The afternoon continuation to one of the last remaining vestiges of the old Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan, these gardens lie out in the south of the city. On arrival at the pier the people will board their gaily-painted ‘trajinera’ or boat to the gently poled along some of the may waterways which make up this area. They will be able to enjoy the colours and gaiety of this area and also hear the Mariachis as they pass along (NB The mariachis playing exclusively for the people is not included here). On the way back they will have a short visit to the University City (the outside only) where they will be able to see the murals of the library and the Olympic Stadium. Return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 05 EXCURSION TO PUEBLA
Breakfast in the hotel. The first stop will be at Santa María Tonantzintla, to visit the colourful chapel there and then continue to Cholula, the city of churches, where they will visit the Pyramid with the biggest base in the world. After this visit they will continue to Puebla, on arrival in Puebla the people will be taken on a tour of this beautiful colonial city to see such buildings as the Cathedral, the Capilla del Rosario, the main square and the religious museum ‘Convento de Santa Monica’. Return to Mexico City. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

I recommend to attend a mass in the cathedral of Mexico City or in Puebla as you would loose to much time going first to the Basilica of Guadalupe and then cross the whole city going to Puebla. There is no time to visit Tlaxcala.

DAY 06 DEPARTURE DAY
Breakfast in the hotel. Mass at the cathedral and time at leisure until transfer to the airport.
