Camping Trip - Inca Trail to Machu Picchu (5 days/4 nights)

Departures - 2nd and 4th Saturdays/Sundays between April & October
All meals are included during the trail.
The camping trip is only fit for certain travellers.

Day 01: Cusco / Patallacta
Depart Cusco by train or bus to Qoriwayrachina or Chilca where the porters await you for a day of walking along the Urubamba River across from the snow capped Mt. Veronica. Reach Patallacta soon after lunch with time to explore the surroundings.

Day 02: Patallacta / Liullchapampa

Day 03: Liullchapampa / Chakicocha

Day 04: Chakicocha / Machu Picchu
After continuing along a buttress and passing Phuyupatamarca ruins the flagstoned trail winds sharply down into the cloud forest to the ruins of Winay Wayna. You arrive at Machu Picchu the way the Incas did, watching the magnificent citadel at your feet from “Intipunku”, the door of the sun. Overnight camping.

Day 05: Machu Picchu to Cusco
The whole morning is dedicated to exploring these extraordinary ruins. The mid-afternoon train takes you back to Cusco. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight Cusco.
