Crossing of Lake Titicaca (4 days/3 nights)

Day 01: Puno / La Paz by Catamaran
Early departure by bus to La Paz passing through the picturesque villages of Jull, Pomata, Ilave, until you arrive at Copacabana where you will enjoy lunch before boarding the catamaran in order to cross Lake Titicaca. On the way you will visit the Suriqui Island, where the reed boats are made. Arriving to the Bolivian shore, a bus will be available for the transfer to your hotel in La Paz.

Day 02: Tiahuanaco/La Paz
After breakfast, half-day morning tour to Tiahuanaco, 72kms from La Paz, the trip passes through Bolivian Highlands where you can see the Aymara Indian way of life and a beautiful old church in the renaissance style built by the Spaniards. Tiahuanaco is one of the oldest American cultures.

Afternoon tour of La Paz, including the area of the street markets. The tour goes through the colonial part of the city and moon valley.

Day 03: Full Day Yungas and Coroico
Coroico is 96km from La Paz at 1.525m in the subtropical area and very rich in agriculture. The route has a great view with a lot of contrasts. It goes as high as 4.650m at La Cumbre, surrounded by snow-capped mountains with impressive glaciers, then dropping down to 1.150m at Yolosa in a 2 hour trip with a nice change from highland to a tropic climate. Arriving in Coroico, the capital of North Yungas, you enter a small colonial town set in the hills with a view of the jungle valleys below. Lunch included.

Day 04: Onward Destination
Transfer to the airport for your onward destination.
