BOGOTÁ AND AMAZON REGION 10 Days / 9 Nights
Day 01:
Reception at the airport El Dorado and transfer to the HOTEL MORRISON **** located in the Zona Rosa of the city.Overnight.

Day 02:
American breakfast and morning City Tour including visit to the Bolivar Main Square, the old colonial area of La Candelaria and the world famous Gold Museum. Also by cable car up to the hill of Monserrate, from where a wonderful view of the city can be seen . Afternoon tour to the town of Zipaquira, one hour from the city,to visit the underground Salt Cathedral, carved in the galleries of the richest salt mine of Colombia . Return to the Hotel. Overnight.

Day 03:
American breakfast and early departure by car to the colonial town of VILLA DE LEYVA, through the region of Boyaca. The first stop will be made at the Boyaca Bridge, where Simòn Bolivar assured the independence of Colombia in 1819. Taking a secondary road full of landscapes and beautiful views, passengers will pass through the town of Samaca on the way to Villa de Leyva . Accommodation at the Hotel POSADA DE SAN ANTONIO. Afternoon dedicated to a walking tour of the town, founded in 1572 and now declared national monument. Overnight .

Day 04:
American breakfast . On Saturday the weekly market takes place, opportunity to visit it . At 10:00 a.m. visit by car to the fossil of a cronosaurius which is said lived 130.000.000 years ago. Back to the hotel and during the afternoon return of Bogotá . Overnight at HOTEL MORRISON.

Day 05:
American breakfast . Morning transfer to the airport to take flight to Leticia on the Amazon River ( At the time being, Aerorepublica is the only airline to Leticia with flights on Sunday, Monday , Wednesday and Friday) . Reception at the airport and transfer to the Hotel Anaconda , overnight.

Day 06:
American breakfast.Full day excursion along the Amazon River to visit the Yagua and Ticuna Indian communities . Walk through a jungle path, lunch boxes and refreshments included . Back to Leticia Approximately at 17:00 hrs. Overnight

Day 07:
American Breakfast full day tour by boat through one of the tributaries of the Amazon on the Peruvian side, the Cayarú River . On this river of dark coloured water, wonderful pictures can be taken . Lunch boxes and refreshments will be distributed . If the water level permits it , the town of Bellavista inhabited by Ticuna Indians will be visited . Afternoon return to Leticia . Overnight .

Day 08:
American breakfast and morning departure by jeep through the road Leticia – Tarapacá to the Indian community of the Huitotos, where the shaman of the tribe will explain and tell about the myths, legends, folklore and culture of this ethnical group. Walk through one of the jungle paths, possibility to take a bath in a nearby lake , lunch included and return to Leticia. Overnight.

Day 09:
American breakfast and transfer to the airport for the flight to Bogotá, transfer to HOTEL MORRISON, overnight.

Day 10:
American breakfast and during the day transfer to the airport for the departure flight.
