Electric currency: La Paz runs on 220V and 110V current. The rest of the country is 220V, the current is in 50 cycles AC.

Entrance Ways: By air with several carriers, operating to Bolivia. However, the most attractive and usual way to enter Bolivia is from Peru, crossing the Sacred Lake of the Incas by catamaran. A Titikaka Catamaran Cruise Line offers daily connections from Cusco/Puno to La Paz.

CITY TOUR AND MOON VALLEY H.D.
We pick up passengers from the hotel to visit a typical Indian Market, the famous Witch Doctor’s Market and the San Francisco Colonial Church. The tour continues to the Plaza Murillo where the Cathedral, the Government Palace and the National Congress buildings are located. Then, we will visit the famous colonial street “Calle Jaén” where interesting museums are clustered together, followed by the visit to the open air museum from the Tiwanaku Culture. To change scenery the tour continues to the residential areas of Obrajes, Calacoto and La Florida. The tour ends with a visit to the unique Moon Valley, where you will have the opportunity to walk around, and a visit to a ceramic workshop with a demonstration of the art of pottery.

TIWANAKU RUINS H.D.
We pick up passengers from the hotel to visit the former capital of a civilization that rose around 700 AD. At 72 Km. from La Paz. During its greatest time, the Capital of Tiwanaku was the largest in the world and considered to be “The Cradle of the American Civilization”. This pre-Inca ruins started endless archaeological debates and the oldest radiocarbon test shows 1.580 B.C. On the way, you will pass the town of Laja, where La Paz was founded in 1.548.

ZONGO H.D.
We pick up passengers from the hotel and take them to Zongo. On the way we pass several lagoons, all of them at the foot of the spectacular Huayna Potosí Mountain. At this point passengers are near the Illimani Mountain and are able to admire its extreme beauty from the most picturesque Illimani sightseeing point in La Paz.

On the way we pass the mining village of Milluni Mine and several lagoons that provide La Paz with its drinking water, all of these at the foot of the spectacular peak of Huayna Potosí. The enormous glaciers are impressive, as is the sudden drop into the Valley, where the vegetation changes constantly as you go downhill.

We pick up passengers from the hotel to visit the subtropical area of the Yungas. The trip goes through Bolivia’s diverse scenery for about 3 hours, crossing a mountain range of enormous masses of stone and rock, gradually descending to the subtropical region, where lower mountains are covered with different vegetation such as the tropical sugar, cocoa, tobacco, coca, coffee and fruit plantations.
