Climate: Ecuador has very different climates and microclimates.
The Pacific coast has a rainy season between December and May and a dry one from June to November. The Highlands has a rainy, cold climate from November to April and a dry one from May to October. In the Amazon, the climate is rainy and humid between January and September, with temperatures between 23 and 36 degrees centigrade, and it is dry between October and December. The Galapagos has a temperate climate with temperatures ranging between 22 and 32 degrees centigrade.

On Rábida red sand beach loaded with graceful sea lions, snorkeling to enjoy underwater paradise, which is tiny, you'll find 9 species of Darwin's flinch. On Isabela, the largest of the islands, 5 large volcanoes, you will be within touching distance with huge colonies of blue footed boobies. On Santa Cruz, the Charles Darwin Research Station, where giant tortoises and iguanas are reared. On Fernandina, a species of penguin found only in the Galápagos, flightless cormorants and iguanas. On Bartolomé, moonlike panoramas, dramatic rock formations, lava tubes and trails of mangroves. On Española, sally lightfoot crabs, hood mockingbirds, the lava lizard and every waved albatross on Earth, gardner Bay, white coral sand beach, snorkeling to Tortuga Rock.
