Times: Most shops in the city centre and suburbs open between 08h00 and 17h00. Shops in some major malls may open at 09h00 and close at 21h00 or later. Banks close at 15h30, and have limited Saturday morning opening times. Muslim-owned businesses close at noon on Fridays and re-open at 13h00.
Climate: Most tourists visit Cape Town during our long summer from November to February. A Mediterranean climate with little rain, 11 hours a day sunshine or more and long sunny evenings sets a party mood.
It seldom rains in summer, and only briefly when it does. The winters are cool and wet, but the temperature hardly ever falls below 10° C.

Silver Package - Golf Tour - Cape Town, George, Sun City

DAY 1 – Cape Town

- Arrive Cape Town International Airport. Meet and greet for transfer to the Cape Grace Hotel situated in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
- Check in at the Cape Grace Hotel.
- Pick up for a half day Private City Tour with sights of the City Centre and visit the world famous Table Mountain (weather permitting).
- Overnight at the Cape Grace Hotel – breakfast included.

DAY 2 – Cape Town

- Pick up for golf at the Royal Cape Golf Club – the oldest Golf Course in South Africa.
- Tour further through the Constantia Winelands region with lunch at Constantia Uitsig Restaurant. Drop off at the Cape Grace Hotel.
- Overnight at the Cape Grace Hotel – breakfast included.

DAY 3 – Cape Town

- Pick up for a full day Private Tour called the “Grand Slam” will cover both the Cape Peninsula with it’s panoramic views and the Cape Vineyards with Mountain Landscapes. Lunch will be booked at either the Peninsula or Vineyards. Drop off at the Cape Grace Hotel.
- Overnight at the Cape Grace Hotel – breakfast included.

DAY 4 – Cape Town

- Pick up for golf at Steenberg Golf Estate – another residential estate layout built around a vineyard, and overlooked by mountains and forests.
- Tour further through the Winelands region with tasting of some of the best wines in the Southern Hemisphere. Drop off at the Cape Grace Hotel.
- Overnight at the Cape Grace Hotel – breakfast included.



DAY 5 – Cape Town - George

- Pick up for transfer to Cape Town International Airport.
- Take flight to George Airport.
- Arrive George Airport. Meet and greet for transfer to Fancourt.
- Golf at either the Outeniqua Golf Course or the Links Course situated on the Fancourt Estate. The Outeniqua was ranked 6th by the Golfers Digest Magazine and the Links was ranked the 8th and also the host of the Presidents Cup 2003.
- Overnight at the Fancourt Hotel – breakfast included.

DAY 6 – George

- Golf at the Montague Golf Course, situated on the Fancourt Estate. The Montague is one of the finest courses in South Africa and rated by the Golfer’s Digest Magazine as the 3rd best golf course in South Africa for the year 2003.
- Overnight at the Fancourt Hotel – breakfast included.



DAY 7 – George – Johannesburg – Sun City

- Pick up for transfer from the Fancourt Hotel to the George Airport.
- Take flight to Johannesburg International Airport.
- Arrive Johannesburg International Airport. Meet and greet for transfer to the Lost City.
- Check in at the Palace Hotel.
- Golf at the Lost City Golf Course – The course was carved out of undulating and rocky terrain.
- Overnight at the Palace Hotel – breakfast included.

DAY 8 – Sun City

- Golf at the Gary Player Country Club – host of the Nedbank Golf Challenge.
- Overnight at the Palace Hotel – breakfast included.

DAY 9 – Sun City – Johannesburg

- Pick up for transfer to the Johannesburg International Airport.
- End of services.

A deposit of 20% is required to secure the above-mentioned services, with further full prepayment to be scheduled by no later than 45 days prior to commencement of services. LED Tours and Travel has the right to change the golf venues as per the availability of golf and the requirements that has been set out by the applicable golf clubs and their members. All golfers should be dressed with the suitable golf attire and act within the rules and regulations of each golf club visited. Please notice that all golf courses in RSA are “soft-spikes” courses and please inform the clients of this matter.
